The Bay Area rapper took the stage on crutches following reports he was shot Friday night.
Following the report, Keak posted a video to his own Instagram account in which he seems to speak about a near-death experience, but does not explicitly state he was shot. “You’ll never understand how valuable life is until it flash before ya eyes,” he writes, “Gods plan can never be determined by man an fa that I’m still livin an Can’t nothin on this earth stop me!”
Keak is seen taking the stage on crutches in the video posted with the caption.
He also performed a live band reinterpretation of “Bounce Back.”
This feels like the first time I heard Killa Cam
Pink Tims in the Lamb
Mixing it in with Dilla and
Headphones to the ceiling fan
You the reason I ever touched my first Franklin
Fast forward, I’m in Kanye crib with Kirk Franklin
And see you again, needless to say
Back when I dated Alisha, Simone
Or any other girl who looked like Lisa Bonet
Who was jealous of me and Jhené
I Decided is out February 2nd. Sean recently revealed that Eminem would be featured on the project in an extensive interview with Zane Lowe.
Ralo documents the scene of a car accident in which he miraculously escaped without injury.
“That just tell you Allah is the greatest at all times,” Ralo said after giving his Instagram followers a close look at his wrecked vehicle, which was flipped upside down beside the freeway. “Walk away from this shit like a gangsta.”
It’s not clear if there were other passengers in the car at the time of the accident, but members of the rapper’s crew can be seen by his side in the video. There is no mention of anyone else being injured in the crash.
The spring and summer may bring “music and concerts” from Mr. West.
“Kanye has a few surprise projects coming up that involves music and concerts in the spring and summer,” the source claims. “Plus he is working on his fashion line and some collaborations.”
Unfortunately, there’s no word on what these “projects” are. Kanye has hinted at a solo album called Turbo Grafx 16, a GOOD Music album called Cruel Winter, and a joint project with Drake which may or may not be called Calabasas Is The New Abu Dhabi — though knowing Ye, he probably has something entirely new up his sleeve.
The report also suggested that Kanye is spending as much time with his family as possible. “His kids are his number one priority for him and he wants to be a good dad and make his mother proud,” reads the quote. “He thinks about her every day.”
T.Y. suggests his father could be home within the next year or two.
He went on to explain that B.G. has been through a few different facilities over the last little while, sometimes making it very difficult for the two to communicate. “When he was in Pennsylvania, that was like the worst jail,” he said. “Since he got out that motherfucker everything’s been a lot better. During that time it was rough on him bro, but he’s doin’ good now.”
While it’s been hard to stay in touch at times, T.Y. suggests he’s always made an effort to speak to his father even if he had to resort to writing. “We was just communicating through letters,” he recalled. “And that shit don’t be moving like how you would think cause that shit takes days to get to you. That shit be crazy, but we talked as much as we could.”
Here’s hoping B.G. is home sooner than later. T.Y. just released a collaborative project with Curren$y and Corner Boy P called Jetlanta. Listen to it here.

DALLAS, TX – 2Piece Malone is an artist who embodies the duality of mankind – the idea that every person essentially has two personalities. It’s an idea as old as time. Some have called it the Id and the Ego, the good and the bad, the fun and the serious. For 2Piece Malone, it’s an identity that he hopes fans will embrace through his self-proclaimed “yin and yang” music.
“It’s the whole reason why I go by 2Piece Malone,” he said. “I have two albums that I dropped at the same time, and one is more straight, hard content with a lot of substance while the other album is more about having fun and being relaxed and shows my other side of my personality. I think everybody has at least two personalities within them. Someone might be militant one moment and then thuggin’ the next. Most people carry two personalities within them, whether they admit it or not, and when you hear my music I want you to feel something regardless of where you’re at in the moment – mad, sad, laughing … it doesn’t matter, as long as you’re getting some kind of feeling from it.”
Born as Robert Malone, 2Piece first became interested in music as a young child. He said he remembers growing up with older brothers who would always be watching movies that featured people rapping in them. He also remembers parents who would play some of the classics – like the Temptations and the 5 Heartbeats.
“Seeing that and seeing the power you can have with your words to affect people, and seeing them react to that, was real intriguing for me initially,” he said. “I started writing some of my own stuff when I was 14, and started getting serious about it toward the end of high school.”
Today he’s growing in popularity internationally – currently bouncing back and forth between Kuwait and Dubai to push his music and perform live shows or DJ private parties. He’s had the opportunity to perform at a number of clubs in Dubai and plans to extend his global tour through April of 2017 before coming back to the U.S.
In the meantime, he hopes fans will be impressed with a new single he’s released called “Barz” that’s available on Spotify and Soundcloud. He said it’s a song that’s somewhat “psychedelic” in a sense.
“It’s a song that came about on one of those nights when I took some Xanex bars and was listening to some beats and that’s what popped into my head,” he said. “It’s one of the standout songs on the EP I released (“2Piece Malone – NLFS,” available on iTunes). It’s a comical song but it also has a double meaning. It’s lyrical and funny and psychedelic and trippy all at the same time.”
