DALLAS, TX – 2Piece Malone is an artist who embodies the duality of mankind – the idea that every person essentially has two personalities. It’s an idea as old as time. Some have called it the Id and the Ego, the good and the bad, the fun and the serious. For 2Piece Malone, it’s an identity that he hopes fans will embrace through his self-proclaimed “yin and yang” music.

“It’s the whole reason why I go by 2Piece Malone,” he said. “I have two albums that I dropped at the same time, and one is more straight, hard content with a lot of substance while the other album is more about having fun and being relaxed and shows my other side of my personality. I think everybody has at least two personalities within them. Someone might be militant one moment and then thuggin’ the next. Most people carry two personalities within them, whether they admit it or not, and when you hear my music I want you to feel something regardless of where you’re at in the moment – mad, sad, laughing … it doesn’t matter, as long as you’re getting some kind of feeling from it.”

Born as Robert Malone, 2Piece first became interested in music as a young child. He said he remembers growing up with older brothers who would always be watching movies that featured people rapping in them. He also remembers parents who would play some of the classics – like the Temptations and the 5 Heartbeats.

“Seeing that and seeing the power you can have with your words to affect people, and seeing them react to that, was real intriguing for me initially,” he said. “I started writing some of my own stuff when I was 14, and started getting serious about it toward the end of high school.”

Today he’s growing in popularity internationally – currently bouncing back and forth between Kuwait and Dubai to push his music and perform live shows or DJ private parties. He’s had the opportunity to perform at a number of clubs in Dubai and plans to extend his global tour through April of 2017 before coming back to the U.S.

In the meantime, he hopes fans will be impressed with a new single he’s released called “Barz” that’s available on Spotify and Soundcloud. He said it’s a song that’s somewhat “psychedelic” in a sense.

“It’s a song that came about on one of those nights when I took some Xanex bars and was listening to some beats and that’s what popped into my head,” he said. “It’s one of the standout songs on the EP I released (“2Piece Malone – NLFS,” available on iTunes). It’s a comical song but it also has a double meaning. It’s lyrical and funny and psychedelic and trippy all at the same time.”

Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar’s “Goosebumps” just went platinum.

Following Travis Scott’s announcement that a “Goosebumps” music video would drop this week, the Houston rapper confirmed via Instagram that the song just hit platinum sales.

Featuring Kendrick Lamar, “Goosebumps” is arguably one of the best songs on Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. Along with a monochromatic photo of himself, Scott posted, “Thank u god we beat the odds.” He then reiterated that a video can be expected before the end of the week.

“Goosebumps” is number 1 on the Billboard rhythmic radio chart. Up next, Travis is gearing up for the release of Astroworld, his follow up album. He is currently on the Birds Eye View tour. Meanwhile, after pleasing his fans with the single “The Heart Part 4,” Kendrick is expected to drop a new studio album this April.

Calvin Harris looks to preemptively put the summer on smash with star-studded collab.

Coming off a chart-climbing collaboration with Migos and Frank Ocean, Calvis Harris clearly has no intentions of slowing his roll. It appears Harris has activated some sort of hitmaker signal beacon and summoned the assistance of Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, and Ariana Grande for his upcoming single “Heatstroke.” While we don’t have an official drop date, hhnm speculates a late March release. Judging from the track’s title, one might assume the song’s intended goal is to take over the summer, becoming globally ubiquitous in clubs, beach parties, and barbecues.Harris has shared the song’s official artwork and production credits, which you can find below.

Eminem’s daughter has grown into a beautiful woman.

Everybody’s favorite rapper’s daughter has grown up to be a beautiful woman. Eminem‘s daughter, Hailie Scott Mathers, is now 21 and smokin’. With a mere 22 posts, she could be a budding IG star; she has 172,000 followers.

US Magazine reports Hailie is a college student at Michigan State University. She often posts pics of herself wearing daring outfits. For her 21st birthday, she wore a dress that put some of her under cleavage on display. Like any normal IGer, she also loves to posts photos with her friends, her boyfriend and her dog as well as cool and inspirational quotes.

Hailie is the spitting image of her mother Kim Scott, legendary for being the subject of angry songs such as “Kim,” “97 Bonnie and Clyde,” and “I’m Going Through Changes.” Check out the IG posts below.

Couldn't have asked for a better 21st birthday celebration (or a better guy to have by my side)
